سه دورۀ تولید و بازتولید سیاست در نظام اجتماعی ارامنۀ قفقاز (430-303/ 1220-430/ 1501-1220)

در طول قرن‌های 3 تا 15، ارمنستان قفقاز مدام تحت هجوم ملت‌ها و اقوام مختلف قرار داشت؛ از قرن چهارم تا هفتم عرصۀ رقابت ساسانیان و رومی‌ها/بیزانسی‌ها بود. سپس در طول قرن‌های 7 تا 11 محل منازعۀ خلافت اسلامی و امپراتوری بیزانس قرار گرفت. بعد برای دو قرن جولانگاه ترکان و بیزانسی‌ها شد و سرانجام در طول قرن‌های 13 تا 15 نیز به میدان تاخت و تاز مغولان و ترکمانان تبدیل شد. پرسش اصلی اینجا است که سیاست‌ورزی این قومیت کوچک، که در مقایسه با تمام ملت‌های مهاجم منابع تخصیصی و اقتداری محدودی داشته است را در آن موقعیت جغرافیایی و برهۀ زمانی چگونه باید فهم کرد. اتکا بر نظریۀ ساخت‌یابی و جامعه‌شناسی تاریخی مکمل آن نشان می‌دهد که باید پاسخ را در انتشار هرچه بیشتر سیاست‌ورزی در زمان- مکان دید. سیر تاریخی سیاست‌ورزی ارامنه، نشانگر حرکتی تاریخی و غیرتکاملی از سوی اتکا بر منابع تخصیصی محدود در زمان- مکان (دژنشینی، مالکیت ارضی، نیروی مسلح) به‌سمت منابع اقتداری (قانونگذاری، امر قدسی، میانجیگری، ترجمه، تفسیر و بایگانی، بیعت و بیعت‌نکردن، بیگانگان) و گونۀ نوینی از منابع تخصیصی (وقف، پول، تجارت) است که ویژگی هر دو گستردگی بی‌پایانی در زمان- مکان است. این نوشتار، تحول مورد نظر را در قالب سه مقطع تاریخی به تصویر می‌کشد؛ سال‌های 330 تا 420، سال‌های سیاست مبتنی بر منابع تخصیصی، سال‌های 420 تا 1220 دوران تکوین سیاست مبتنی بر منابع تخصیصی کناررفتن گونۀ کهن سیاست، 1220 تا 1501 دوران تثبیت سیاست‌ورزی مبتنی بر منابع تخصیصی.
